September 14, 2010

PSSST: Check out our 2011 Guide to Mexican Independence Day in LA!

Some of you drunkards probably think Mexican Independence Day and Cinco De Drinko are one in the same. Luckily you have us, your oracles of boozy, fattening events & random LA area knowledge, to clear up this misunderstanding for you: Mexican Independence Day is September 16th (Cinco De Mayo is another story entirely). So, if you’re not Mexican and thus find this day just about as exciting as a Canadian Independence Day might be (eh?), what does this mean for you? Drink & Food Specials.

We love that living in LA means we get to celebrate Mexican holidays and enjoy their corresponding drink specials. Now if only local restaurants and bars would get on the Canadian Holiday band wagon… bento box specials for Boxing Day anyone? Or maybe a lovely Victorian-style costume party (with drink specials of course) for Victoria Day? Common Canadians – speak up!
