Bottomless Mimosa Guide: Ocean + Vine
Holidays weekends were made for bottomless mimosas – no work on Monday means you don’t have to worry about a champagne hangover from one too many mimosas on Sunday. And, since you’ll probably continue your drinking all day Monday anyhow, think of Sunday’s mimosa brunch as a warm up of sorts.
Can we be here now instead of in the office?
To us, the 4th of July means beachside boozing so this month’s bottomless mimosa pick is a hop, skip and jump away from digging your toes into the sand: Ocean and Vine. Ocean and Vine is located in side the Loew’s hotel in Santa Monica. Loew’s is the perfect location to start a nice beachday, and if you sit on the patio, your views of the ocean and pier during brunch are amazing. It is pricey compared to some of our other brunch picks (i.e. Overland Cafe), but let’s live a little this weekend.
Brunch at Ocean and Vine runs every Sunday from 11am-3pm. For $49/person you get an all you can eat brunch buffet + all you can guzzle bubbly. Things you’ll find at their brunch buffet: make your own omelettes, a waffle station, bagels, pastries, bacon (yes bacon gets it’s own mention), a carving station and a selection of mini desserts. They also have seasonal items that change up every….season.
So fill up on food and booze here this Sunday, and then rent some beach cruisers and bar crawl down to Venice – a perfect Sunday in our eyes.
