Eat Real Fest
As if we haven’t already given you enough options of ways to eat, drink and be merry from now til Sunday, here’s one more to add to your calendar – the Eat Real Festival in Culver City.
Yes, yes, we know that Culver is dangerously close to the 405, but we like to live on the edge.

Head to the Helms Bakery District (think: FO and Lukshon) for a weekend full of bites and booze on the cheap. The fest runs Saturday from 10:30a-9:00p and Sunday from 10:30a -5:00p. The Thrillist all-you-can-eat/drink passes are already sold out (ya snooze, ya lose) but not to worry, ALL tastes ring in at under $5 anyhow and there is no cost for entry like most of those food truck fests.
Food tastes are from all over the place – restos, food trucks, gourmet stores, you name it. And, to quench your thirst, sip on Californian wines and local beers as well as some non-alchie beverages. There will also be food workshops, demos, contests and live music!

Nice! I wrote about the same thing and absolutely loved that everything was under five dollars
