Bottomless Mimosa Guide: Momed
Ever since I moved a couple miles west last summer, and especially since we discovered Saffron, South Beverly Drive between Wilshire and Olympic has become one of my favorite little nooks in LA. There are tons of quick and delicious food options, and of course that gigantic Anthropologie that I wish was my personal closet. One of our favorite spots to grab a bite on the street is Momed – who serves up tasty Mediterranean food that’s pretty wallet friendly, with cheap beer and good wine – perfect for an after-work wind down.
The last time I was at Momed, I almost spit out my water (ok, ok, it was wine) after flipping over my menu, because this little gem of a restaurant is also slinging bottomless mimosas every weekend! During brunch, every Saturday and Sunday from 9am-2:30pm, score bottomless mimosas (and also bottomless Momosas…although we aren’t quite sure what these are really) for $15.
The breakfast menu is a mix of the norm (eggs, yogurt, granola, patsties), and some Mediterranean inspired dishes, like their morning flatbreads, which all sound pretty amazing.
So next time you’re on S. Beverly, forget waiting around for a table at the always over-crowded Urth down the block, and grab a seat on the patio at Momed.
