All Star Specials Tonight

I have loved and watched the all star game since I was a little kid. Being a Mariner fan (its a love hate relationship that’s only success has been the 95/96 seasons), I typically root for the AL. Though I have to say I was not too proud of my league last night as they boo’ed their own kind, Robbie Cano, for not picking the16th ranked KC hitter for the derby… not that Cano did all that wonderfully, but still, seemed classless.

But I digress. Whether you root for the AL or NL, here’s a few spots to watch the game and drink some brewskies at a discounted price. You might want to call ahead though to make sure the volume is on at these spots, its always such a bummer when its not.

Over in Hollywood, the sports bar Township Saloon on Sunset is offering deals on hot dogs, wings, and beers. No details on what the pricing will be, but definitely a good scene at which to watch the game.

Near our pads in WeHo, the always packed Belmont will be offering a burger+beer special for just $11 during the game. Not the best deal in the world,but certainly not the worst either.

Down in Culver City, it up a less traditional game watching spot, Seventy7 Lounge, where you can score a FREE shot for every American League home run (woo hoo!) and a FREE shot+beer for every Yankee or Angel home run. Obviously we know where their allegiance lies…
