Crawfish Boil Sundays @ The Foundry
We’ve always wanted to host a Crawfish boil at home completed with Southern style shellfish fare + booze + costumes (as we have yet to grow up and thus all our parties must involve costumes.)
Unfortunately, this is just not logistically possible. Tiny grill, no giant lobster pot to cook in, tinier patio sans enough seating for friends.
Even if we DID have all those pieces, it seems nearly impossible we could execute such an event for under $25 per person and still let them eat and drink to their heart’s content. And yet somehow, Eric Greenspan has executed exactly such an event:
Deets: The dinner is $25 and includes as much Crawfish and Jambalaya as you can stuff in your gullet. Let all that food slop around in your tummy as you wash it down with all-you-can-drink ‘Forbidden Fruit Punch‘, which is a combo of Citron Grey Goose, Lemon, Ginger and Apple. There is also mention of a Shrimjp Po Boy and Beignets, but those will cost ya additional.
The party goes down on The Foundry back patio, under that super adorable and romantic lighted up tree, every Sunday this summer from 5:30-8pm.

Reservations are not required. They actually don’t allow them for the crawfish boil. I just went Sunday. The shrimp po boys and beignets are not included in the $25 if you want them.
Thanks so much for the feedback on the po boys and beignets – we assumed not part of the deal but good to confirm. We will change the note re: ressys. What’d you think of the event? Food good? Fun?
