Fried Chicken Fest 2012

August 20, 2012

On our list of favorite foods you’d be likely to see burrata, bacon, apples, mac n cheese, potatoes, steak, wine (yes its a food), and fried chicken. We believe, each of these things comes in so many different forms and dishes that it would be nearly impossible to get sick of any one item.

We are going to test that theory this Sunday while we stuff lots and lots of fried chicken down our gullets.

LA Fried Chicken Fest

When: Sunday, August 26th, 4-8pm

Where: The Coop (Beverly Hills – Restaurant Row), 134 N. La Cienega Blvd

What: $55 tickets get you all you can eat fried chicken and all you can drink punch and craft beers.

We’re already salivating as we dream about the different styles of fried chicken we’ll get to try this Sunday. Just look at the lineup: there’s a Mexican restaurant, a Peruvian restaurant, an Italian spot – we have to imagine the standard seasonings and cooking techniques from each culture will be reflected in each style of fried chicken. And we know as we enjoy our boozy punch, each sampling of chicken will only taste that much better.

Our delay in posting this article has already cost you an extra $10, but don’t let it cost you the entire event by missing out! You can always justify your/our delay in that an extra $1 will be going to Share Our Strength because of your less-than-timeliness (10% of event proceeds go to the charity.)

Cluck Cluck.
